Patara is an ancient city located on the Mediterranean coast of Turkey, near the village of Gelemiş in Antalya Province. It was once a flourishing maritime and commercial city and served as the capital of Lycia for a period.

Kaleköy is a wonderful place where you will find amazing landscapes, a peaceful environment, as well as interesting attractions. Simena is the ancient name of Kaleköy, a fantastic ancient city that can only be reached by boat from Kaş, Demre, or Üçağız. Ancient Simena, known as Kaleköy today, is a small Lycian coastal city and has been a strategic point that has been inhabited since the 4th century B.C. The ruin that reflects this feature most vividly is the castle, which has remained intact until today, and it is possible to watch the most perfect views of Kekova and its surroundings. Simena is one of the rare settlements in Türkiye that can only be reached from the sea. It was created in order to protect natural, cultural, and geographical values on the island of Kekova and its surrounding coasts. The ancient city of Simena, located within the Kekova Special Environmental Protection Area, covering an area of 260 km², is registered as a 1st-degree archaeological site.

Kekova, also named Caravola, is a small Turkish island near Demre (Demre is the Lycian town of Myra) district of Antalya province which faces the villages of Kaleköy (ancient Simena) and Üçağız (ancient Teimioussa). Kekova has an area of 4.5 km2 (2 sq mi) and is uninhabited.

Kaputas sits between cliff-faces at the point where a deep canyon meets the sea. The entrance to the canyon is located on the road between Kalkan and Bezirgan Village. Development is banned on Kaputas Beach as it has placed under protection. Located at the mouth of the Kaputas Canyon, Kaputas Beach is also known as ‘Kanyon Agzi Plaji’ (meaning Canyon Mouth Beach). The turquoise color of the water here is caused by the ice-cold spring water flowing from the canyon.

Xanthos is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Xanthos was a centre of culture and commerce for the Lycians, and later for the Persians, Greeks and Romans who in turn conquered the city. As an important city in Lycia, it exerted significant architectural influences upon other cities of the region, with the Nereid Monument directly inspiring the Mausoleum at Halicarnassus in Caria. Xanthos is the Greek appellation, acquired during its Hellenisation, of Arñna in the Lycian language. The Hittite and Luwian name of the city is given in inscriptions as Arinna (not to be confused with the Arinna near Hattusa). The Romans called the city Xanthus.

Kaleköy (literally "Castle's village" in Turkish; Ancient Greek: Σίμηνα - Simena) is a village of the Demre district in the Antalya Province of Turkey, located between Kaş and Demre, on the Mediterranean coast. Kaleköy faces the island of Kekova, and can be reached by sea or on foot from Üçağız. The village lies amidst a Lycian necropolis, which is partially sunken underwater. Kaleköy is overlooked by a Byzantine castle, built in the Middle Ages to fight the pirates who nested in Kekova. The castle contains a small theatre. Kaleköy is a popular yachting destination.
