Description
Bleeker's parrotfish is a medium-sized fish that can grow up to 49 cm in length. It has a greenish body with pink scale edges and a large whitish blotch on the cheek. Females are dark brown with 3-4 broad pale bars and a yellowish tail. Bleeker's parrotfish is found in the tropical waters of the central Indo-Pacific region. It feeds on filamentous algae.
