Description
Kawagarbo, one of the most sacred mountains in Tibetan Buddhism, is located in Yunnan Province, China, bordering Tibet. Elevation 22,113 ft (6,740 m). To date, no efforts made to summit the main peak have been successful due to technical difficulties and unpredictable weather conditions. Local Tibetans believe the mountain is to be worshipped rather than conquered.
