Interesting photo of two white fawns, one with antlers, descended from the brown white tailed deer. White deer are ordinary white-tailed deer with an extraordinary color. They are white or mostly white in color. The color is a genetic trait and is inherited but is extremely rare. The white deer are not albino, because they have brown eyes whereas the albino deer has pink eyes and nose. The older fawn has spots, despite brown white tailed fawns usually losing their spots by autumn.

White reindeer walking on the wild street of Northern Norway

"Dyrehaven is a very big park north of Copenhagen. It was created as a hunting ground for the kings but today it is a popular picnic area for all. In the autumn the deer are rutting and it is possible, to come very close to the males. If you dare. The red deer in the park are considered as the classic north European red deer, but all kinds of Danish wild living deer can be found. In August the fallow deer stags gather in great groups preparing to fight for the females in late August and September. The antlers are still in velvet aa covered be skin. A few of the animals are albinos."

Rare white deer with antlers in velvet

Blackbuck or black buck (Antilope cervicapra), also known as the Indian antelope, is an antelope native to India and Nepal. It is found in grassy plains and lightly forested areas with perennial water sources. Males have long, ringed horns, though females may develop horns as well. White fur on the chin and around eyes is in sharp contrast with the black stripes on the face. Males’ coat shows two-tone colouration; while the upper parts and outsides of the legs are dark brown to black, the underparts and the insides of the legs are white. Females and juveniles are yellowish fawn to tan.
