Psalm 3 in the Bible is a psalm of David, written when he fled from his son Absalom. It expresses trust in God during a time of distress and danger. Here’s a concise summary based on the text: # Verses 1-2: David laments that many enemies rise against him, mocking his faith by saying God won’t deliver him.# Verses 3-4: He affirms God as his shield, glory, and source of strength, confidently stating that God hears his prayers.# Verses 5-6: David describes sleeping peacefully despite danger, trusting God’s protection against countless foes.# Verses 7-8: He calls on God to arise and save him, acknowledging God’s power to defeat enemies and bless His people.# The psalm reflects themes of trust, divine protection, and deliverance amidst adversity.
