Corydalis Lutea, Delicate yellow tubular flowers with lacy foliage. High quality photo

Macro shot of yellow corydalis (pseudofumaria lutea) flowers in bloom

Short to medium densely tufted, rather greyish-green perennial. Leaves 2-3 pinnate with narrow-oblong divisions. Flowers golden-yellow, 12-20mm, 6-16 in racemes opposite the upper leaves. Fruit pendent, with a deciduous style.

Yellow corydalis is a familiar 'weed' of gardens, walls and rocky places. It is a garden escapee in the UK. It is native to the southern foothills of the south-western and central Alps of Italy and Switzerland, but widely introduced elsewhere.
