Two red-coated huntsmen out fox-hunting with their hounds, one of which is swimming across a stream while the horses jump over it. From “The Follies & Fashions of our Grandfathers: 1807” by Andrew W Tuer. Published in London by Field & Tuer, The Leadenhall Press & Co., 1886/7.

A scared looking cherub (possibly Cupid, judging by the quiver of arrows) riding on a fox hound which is running at full pelt. From “The May Blossom; or The Princess and Her People” illustrated by HH Emmerson, engraved and printed by Dalziel Brothers and published by Frederick Warne & Co, London, in 1881. The book contains illustrated verses “…concerning the Princess Victoria…” who was the daughter of the Prince of Wales, who became King Edward VII in 1901.

An enthusiastic-looking fox hunting man riding with a rifle in his hands and the reins looped over his arm. The horse looks quite keen as well. From “R.
