Cirata, West Java, Indonesia - September 12, 2023: A floating solar panel colocated with a hydropower plant seen at Cirata Reservoir in Cianjur Regency. The floating solar power panel project at Cirata Reservoir with a capacity of 192 megawatt peak (MWp) spread over an area of 200 hectares and consisting of more than 340 thousand solar panels is capable of producing 245 million kWh. Indonesia has a target of seeing 23% of its energy usage fulfilled by renewables by 2025, and 31% by 2030.
