A glimpse of the ancient Piazza Delle Cinque Scole in the heart of the Jewish Quarter of Rome (Roman Ghetto), in the historic core of the Eternal City. In the center, the Fontana delle Cinque Scole or Fontana del Pianto, a fountain built between 1591 and 1593 by the architects Giacomo della Porta and Pietro Gucci. The iconic Jewish Quarter of Rome, the oldest ghetto in Europe, is famous for the presence of hidden alleys and small squares, where it is easy to find small restaurants of Italian and Jewish cuisine, and remarkable Roman archaeological remains. The ghetto of Rome is located in one of the oldest districts of the Eternal City, between the Campidoglio (Roman Capitol) and the Tiber river. In 1980 the historic center of Rome was declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco. Super wide angle image in 16:9 and high definition format.
