Ravens are large black birds widely distributed on our planet and pairs usually defend their own territory. They coexist with us and they are very flexible with food. They eat insects, cereal grains, berries, fruit, small animals, nesting birds and food waste. Their intelligent way of problem solving paved the way into mythology as spiritual figures or godlike creatures.Size is 54 and 67 cm (21" and 26"). Wingspan is 115 to 150 cm (45"–51"). Ravens living in cold countries or in the mountains are larger, Ravens from warm countries are smaller.Ravens are larger than crows and have a larger and heavier black beak, shaggy feathers around the throat and above the beak and a wedge-shaped tail. Tail shape is different and they do less wing flapping. Despite their bulk, ravens are easily as agile in flight as crows, the feathers produce a creaking sound that has been likened to the rustle of silk. The voice of ravens is unique, a deep croak of a much more sonor sound than a crow's cry.

As this bald eagle soars through the sky, it shows its own personal freedom in travelling the skies and being able to live its own life in the wild, out of captivity. As the national bird of the US, it also represents the freedom that Americans crave. Living in a free state, we want to be able to chase our own dreams and create the life we want. Everyone wants to go wherever they want in life, just like the bald eagle can.
