"A spontaneous monotone pencil and watercolor rendering of a mixed breed, short eared, shepherd or husky type canine. Broad initial strokes with a pencil are followed by line and watercolor wash to complete the picture. Done on regular drawing paper in my sketchbook, a mixture of Ultramarine Blue and Burnt Sienna are used for the wash, so each drawing is different in tone and color. Unlike vector illustrations, the texture of the paper, mingling of tones and granulation of the pigments is evident."
