
Taxco, Mexico, Agu 09 - A panoramic view of the art city of Taxco, in the state of Guerrero, northwestern region of Mexico. Famous for its neocolonial style, Taxco was founded by the Spaniards in 1529 in the footsteps of an ancient Nahua settlement. Thanks to the presence of many silver mines, Taxco is the oldest mining center of the American continent and still today home to many gold and silver workshops.
